Multi-genre pianist, Hannah Blain, was recently featured on 4MBS Classic FM in solo piano album “Impressions, Affections” which was praised by Modern Classical Music Magazine as “ethereal… with intense, vibrant passion”. 4MBS also celebrated her recent performance in new Australian chamber ballet, “AQUILA”, when her performance was featured in their radio series “My Musical Journey”. Hannah regularly performs across classical and contemporary styles, most notably in shows at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC), the Triffid and the Thomas Dixon Centre.

Hannah enthusiastically teaches students from ages 3 to 72 in her Annerley piano studio, titled Piano With Love. Because of her belief that music is for all, she previously ran free piano classes for high school students as a volunteer for Brisbane Catholic Education.

Hannah is currently completing a Bachelor of Music (classical piano) at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University, where she is being mentored by Director, Professor Bernard Lanskey. Having retrained in the Taubman Approach to piano technique, Hannah is passionate about preventing and resolving piano-related injuries through healthy technique. She is currently furthering her training with Australia’s highest qualified Taubman piano teacher, Dr Therese Milanovic.

When not plotting her next creative project, Hannah loves nothing more than hanging out with her girlfriends at West End’s Anita Gelato (she’s a sucker for chocolate cookie!). To get in touch, click here.
