Multi-genre pianist, Hannah Blain, recently performed on 4MBS Classic FM “Impressions, Affections” (solo piano album), praised by Modern Classical Music Magazine as “ethereal… with intense, vibrant passion”. 4MBS also celebrated her recent performance in new Australian chamber ballet, “AQUILA”, when she was featured in their radio series “My Musical Journey”. Hannah regularly performs as a chamber musician, solo pianist, musical theatre accompanist, pit musician, and session musician, most notably in shows at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC), the Triffid and the Thomas Dixon Centre.

Currently completing a Bachelor of Music (classical piano) at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University, Hannah is under the personal mentorship of Director, Professor Bernard Lanskey. Passionate about preventing and resolving piano-related injuries through healthy technique, Hannah is also being mentored by internationally renowned Taubman piano teacher, Dr Therese Milanovic.

Inspired by the quality music education she receives, Hannah enthusiastically teaches students from ages 3 to 72 in her Annerley piano studio, titled Piano With Love. Because of her belief that music is for all, she previously ran free piano classes for high school students as a volunteer for Brisbane Catholic Education. When not plotting her next creative project, Hannah loves nothing more than hanging out with her girlfriends at West End’s Anita Gelato (she’s a sucker for chocolate cookie!).
